What an incredible way to kick off the season!
Members of our board had the privilege of attending the May 1st 2026, Friday night Opening Ceremonies for the Raytown Youth Baseball Softball Association, and the energy was unmatched. From the players’ excitement to the overwhelming community support, it was a great reminder of how special youth sports are to Raytown.
We are especially proud to share that our organization, Raytown Police Fund for Public Benefit, is sponsoring two teams this season. Supporting these young athletes means investing in the values of teamwork, discipline, and confidence that extend far beyond the field.
The Raytown Youth Baseball Softball Association continues to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment for kids in our community to learn and grow through sports. Likewise, the Raytown Police Fund for Public Benefit is dedicated to strengthening community relationships and supporting programs that make a lasting, positive impact right here at home.
We’re honored to be a small part of these athletes’ journeys this season. Good luck to all the teams!
Let’s play ball!

Raytown Live Summer Concert Series.
The Raytown Live Concert Series brings our community together in one of the best ways possible through free, family-friendly evenings filled with music, connection, and local pride. These events create opportunities for neighbors to gather, support local businesses, and enjoy everything that makes Raytown a great place to live.
The Raytown Police Fund for Public Benefit is proud to support Raytown Live because strong communities are built through meaningful connections. When families, friends, and neighbors come together in a welcoming environment, it strengthens relationships, encourages community engagement, and helps create a safer, more connected city for everyone.
As a volunteer-led nonprofit, we believe investing in community events is just as important as supporting first responders and local service organizations. Raytown Live reflects our mission to support people, strengthen communities, and serve those who serve others, making it a partnership we are honored to be part of.

Each year, during National Police Week, the Raytown Police Fund for Public Benefit is honored to support and participate in the Raytown Police Week Memorial Service, a solemn ceremony dedicated to remembering the law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Held at Raytown City Hall, this community gathering brings together law enforcement officers, first responders, elected officials, families, and residents to pause in remembrance and gratitude. Through the presentation of colors, memorial wreath placement, and moments of reflection, we honor the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave everything in service to others.
As a nonprofit committed to supporting those who serve our communities, we believe it is just as important to remember the fallen as it is to support those who continue to wear the badge today. We are proud to help preserve this meaningful tradition and ensure future generations understand the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers across our nation.
The Raytown Police Fund remains committed to standing alongside our law enforcement community—not only during times of celebration, but also during moments of remembrance, reflection, and honor.

Through our partnership with the Raytown Police Department, the Raytown Police Fund for Public Benefit is proud to help create fun and positive opportunities for residents to connect with local law enforcement.
One of those opportunities is the Serin Scavenger Hunt. Throughout the summer, Serin, a special plush pup dressed in his police vest, appears at different locations around Raytown. Clues are shared with the community, and residents are invited to follow along, solve the mystery, and be the first to find him. The lucky person who discovers Serin gets to take him home.
While the scavenger hunts are lighthearted and fun, their purpose goes beyond finding a prize. They encourage families to explore Raytown, attend community events, visit local landmarks, and interact with the Raytown Police Department in a welcoming and positive setting.
This partnership reflects our shared commitment to strengthening relationships, supporting community engagement, and creating memorable experiences for Raytown residents of all ages. We are grateful to the Raytown Police Department for helping bring Serin’s adventures to life and for continuing to find creative ways to connect with the community they serve.
